Cocopeat is essentially dried coconut husk that has been compacted in a brick form. The simple fundamental of usage is that you add water and the coconut fiber absorbs that water as a result the brick expands. The 5 kg Brick by dry weight that can be expanded to have enough coco peat that can be mixed for 8 to 10 medium size pots. If you are a beginner try out a 1 kg break for your convenience,

So whatever size you choose put the brake in a bucket or any kind of a container and let the water be absorbed.

Then once it stops absorbing water, you can use it along with compost and regular soil and using this mix to set up my kitchen Garden in containers.

Scrape the mount You need and keep the rest away in a dry place. It's pretty easy to use. But It would like to add that this is not enough to grow plants. It does not hold any nutrient value. So in order to grow plants if you will have to make some compost, but at least regular soil to it.
